I Love How God Speaks With a Still Small Voice!

I attended a baby shower for a very good friend who adopted a baby recently. It was an incredible shower, like none I have ever been to. Being a part of a young church, I've been to my fair share! God was at work in everyone's hearts and it was so fabulous to connect because of our adoption in Christ as sisters of our Heavenly Father. I always wanted a sister but I guess I got more than I bargained for-LUCKY ME :)))

The focus of the shower was on the perfect hand of God and that this baby's destiny was ordained and no doubt meant to be a part of our friends lives. He had a perfect plan at the perfect time for this precious family! There were three more mommy's in the process of adopting and everyone prayed over us too! It was fantastic. I LOVE ADOPTION and we plan to change the Kingdom of God and this world through God's call and His heart for adoption. It was great!!!

I was able to connect with a lot of friends that having small children sometimes makes impossible. It was wonderful to be able to lean on each one of them and they prayed for healing for me too! What happened at the end was where my epiphany came. I was talking with a great friend, Katie, and everything came together in that moment. I could see exactly what was happening. God was at work and Satan was going to try to stop it.

Scott and I have felt like we are on the verge of something great. We have both felt like God was doing an incredible work in our lives and changing our heart and spirits for something great. Although we are still not exactly sure what all that entails I have come to the conclusion that we are being tested. Ephesians 6:12 says: For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. The devil knows what matters most to us right now and He knows that we will change this world. He is trying to stop that at all costs. He can try all he wants but Scott and I are standing on the promises of God!

Will we withstand this small set back? ABSOLUTELY!

Will we press on towards the things God has called us to? NO MATTER WHAT!

We are turning our fear in to faith and letting His power continue to transform our lives. You see it's not over, God's not finished with me yet. Philippians 1:6 says, being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
